Overview

We are currently adding a Customer Onboarding Specialist who will support our Day Smart Vet clients and software. Day Smart Vet is a cloud-based practice information management software (PiMS) solution for veterinary practices of all sizes. We are passionate about providing delightful experiences to our clients, and ensuring they have a successful onboarding experience and consulting with them to utilize our software to its fullest potential.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for helping new clinics set up their accounts and prepare for a successful launch with Day Smart Vet. You will provide training and support to ensure clinics stay on track throughout their onboarding project. You will be managing data migrations from competitor platforms to Day Smart Vet, so a keen eye for data analysis is necessary alongside excellent attention to detail.

You will play an integral part in what we do to cement positive long‑term relationships with our customers.

  • Assisting clinics in configuring our software to meet their specific needs, ensuring a tailored and personalized experience.
  • Ensuring all aspects of the onboarding process are executed accurately and efficiently.
  • Managing data migrations from competitor platforms, including data collection, data analysis and review, clear communication of next steps, and working with other teams to complete the migration. This will require a flexible schedule and occasional evenings to accommodate clinic hours across time zones.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers throughout the onboarding process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Help to maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as sales, product, data, and customer support to ensure a smooth transition for customers during onboarding.
  • Provide training and support to customers to help them navigate our platform and achieve their desired outcomes.
  • Document customer feedback and communicate insights to relevant teams to drive product improvements.
  • Monitor customer progress and provide ongoing support and guidance as needed to ensure their success.
  • Meet or exceed established SLA's (Service Level Agreements) and KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) related to onboarding timelines, customer satisfaction, and other relevant metrics.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years previous experience in a customer‑facing role, such as customer support, customer success, or onboarding.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Proficiency in using software applications and platforms, with the ability to quickly learn modern technologies.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and a dedication to customer success.
  • Experience in the Veterinary industry is a plus.
  • This will be an hourly position with a salary range of $55,000 to $60,000 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, internal equity, etc.
