St. David's Episcopal Day School (SDEDS) is seeking a reliable and caring Assistant Teacher to support classroom instruction and daily operations. This role is essential in maintaining a positive and structured learning environment for students.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children, values teamwork, and thrives in a collaborative school environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Lead Teacher in daily classroom activities and routines
- Assist with student supervision, transitions, and engagement
- Help prepare classroom materials and maintain organization
- Provide individualized support to students as needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with the teaching team and school leadership
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Minimum:
Associate's Degree required; coursework in education or child development a plus - Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Dependable, flexible, and positive attitude

Compensation & Schedule- Salary: starting at $31,000 (school-year role)
- Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM – 3:15 PM
- Follows school-year calendar (late August through end of May), including school holidays and breaks
- Additional opportunities to work Before or After Care may be available.
