Position Description
The Social Work Department at Eastern University invites applications for Adjunct Faculty positions within our Master of Social Work (MSW) program. We are seeking practitioners and educators who are passionate about preparing competent, advanced social work practitioners to be representatives of God's mercy and justice in a diverse world.

The following teaching opportunities are available:

• Fully Asynchronous Instruction:
  Facilitate 7-week accelerated courses.
• Internship Liaison Role:
  Serve as a dedicated faculty liaison in 28-week synchronous courses, facilitating the bridge between theory and practice.

Position Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Asynchronous Teaching:
  Facilitate high-quality instruction in 7-week online modules, ensuring active engagement, timely feedback, and adherence to CSWE accreditation standards.
• Synchronous Liaison Support:
  In 28-week courses, serve as the bridge between the internship and the University. This role facilitates the integration of internship experience with classroom learning and evaluates student performance based on the nine CSWE Social Work Competencies.
• Ethically integrate a Christian worldview that embodies empathy, justice, and the dignity and worth of each person, aligning with Eastern University's mission and core values.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Education:
  
  A Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program is required.
• Experience:
  
  At least two years of post-MSW practice experience.
• Skills:
  
  Proficiency with Brightspace/D2L and a commitment to excellence in online pedagogy.
• Mission Alignment:
