Guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ, St. Katharine of Siena School is a vital part of the parish community, educating students in kindergarten through eighth grade. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated full‑time Early Elementary School Teacher to join our joyful community of educators. The ideal candidate will cultivate a warm and structured classroom atmosphere where students feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow in knowledge, faith, and friendship.

• Faith Formation:
  • Integrate Catholic teachings and values into everyday instruction and classroom culture.
  • Prepare students for sacraments.
• Instruction and Curriculum Delivery:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with Archdiocesan curriculum standards.
  • Use data‑informed strategies to differentiate instruction and meet diverse student needs.
  • Encourage creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking across all subject areas.
• Classroom Environment:
  • Create a respectful, joyful, and well‑managed classroom space.
  • Use positive behavior strategies to support social‑emotional learning and growth.
• Assessment and Communication:
  • Monitor student progress through both formal and informal assessments.
  • Communicate proactively and consistently with parents and school leadership to celebrate student achievements and address individual needs.
• Collaboration and Professional Growth:
  • Partner closely with partner teacher, learning support specialists, and colleagues to support student success.
  • Participate in school‑wide events, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities with energy and openness.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education.
• Valid teaching certification and experience in elementary education.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Comfort with integrating technology into instruction.
