School Community Engagement Leader
Vacancy (Roberts Elementary) School Community Engagement Leader for SCHOOL YEAR (Internal Only)
Qualifications:
- Current Upper Merion Area School District Staff
- Desire to lead cultural proficiency work in school community
- Ability to work with all staff and communicate effectively
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of Cultural Proficiency strategies and practices with faculty, students, and families along with the Principal.
- Lead informal and formal learning opportunities in your building
- Represent the school community on the district's Cultural Proficiency committee
- Attend monthly planning/professional learning meetings with other Cultural Proficiency Teacher Leaders led by the district consultant.
- Be active in reading assignments from study books and other materials to enhance personal knowledge and skills.
- Share various resources. These include websites, instructional materials, readings, or other resources to use with students or faculty.
- Work directly with the Assistant Superintendent and the district's cultural proficiency consultants.
- Model continual improvement, demonstrate lifelong learning, and use what is learned to help all students achieve.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Salary Rate: $2,319
