Key Responsibilities Support the plant ergonomics program and help identify and reduce ergonomic risks. Partner with production, engineering, safety, medical, labor, and plant leadership. Assess and improve workstations. Analyze injury and medical trends. Support new-model launches and process changes. Ensure compliance with ergonomics standards. Use data analysis to support ergonomic improvements. Provide employee training related to ergonomics. Support cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders. Promote employee well-being while supporting safety, quality, and operational performance.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in ergonomics, engineering, industrial engineering, human factors, kinesiology, occupational health, safety, or a related field. At least one year of experience in ergonomics, manufacturing or industrial engineering, safety, or a related technical area. Experience conducting ergonomic assessments and implementing workplace improvements. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
Experience with 3D modeling.
Preferred Qualifications Master's degree. Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) credential. Automotive manufacturing or launch experience. Familiarity with ergonomic simulation tools.
