Financial Analyst
Location: Hybrid to Wayne, PA - 2 days per week
How you'll contribute to our missionAs a Financial Analyst on our Financial Planning & Analysis team, you’ll play a key role in helping Frontline Education make informed, thoughtful decisions that support educators and schools nationwide. You’ll partner closely with leaders across the organization, translating financial data into meaningful insights that guide planning, resource allocation, and long‑term growth.
Your work will support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and ongoing financial analysis — helping ensure clarity, accuracy, and confidence as the business evolves. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, values collaboration, and is excited to grow alongside a fast‑moving organization.
How you'll drive success- Partner with teams across the organization to provide timely financial insight and guidance
- Support the development and maintenance of monthly forecasts and annual budgets, with a focus on expenses, headcount, and allocations
- Analyze variances between actuals, forecasts, and budgets, and help communicate insights clearly to senior leaders
- Contribute to monthly reporting packages and internal presentations that support decision‑making
- Collaborate with Finance partners during the monthly close to ensure alignment between results and forecasts
- Use financial models, planning tools, and systems to support forecasting, budgeting, and reporting
- Help maintain and improve the company’s financial planning systems and processes
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and clarity in financial models and reporting
- Take initiative on both recurring and ad‑hoc projects as priorities shift
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
- A few years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical role, with interest in expanding responsibility over time
- Comfort working with financial models, data, and spreadsheets to support analysis and planning
- Experience with financial planning or budgeting tools is helpful, though curiosity and willingness to learn matter most
- A track record of analytical thinking, attention to detail, and follow‑through
- Experience working in dynamic environments where priorities evolve
- A collaborative mindset and comfort partnering across teams and functions
- Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to tailor insights to different audiences
- Confidence managing multiple priorities while staying organized and focused
- Adaptability and a positive approach to change, new tools, and evolving processes
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information
