Tax Consultant

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Tax Manager to join their team. As a Tax consultant you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Tax Compliance and Management team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

* ** What's the Job?*
* + Oversee and manage outsourced personal property tax providers to ensure accuracy and compliance

+ Review all personal property tax returns prepared by external firms for completeness and correctness

+ Manage relationships with external vendors, providing guidance and support throughout the tax cycle

+ Ensure timely filing, reconciliation, and payment of all personal property tax liabilities across multiple jurisdictions

+ Maintain organized records of filings, notices, and correspondence, supporting internal audits and reporting

** What's Needed?*
* + 5-7+ years of experience in personal property tax with strong technical knowledge

+ Previous experience reviewing tax returns and managing compliance workflows

+ Proven ability to manage relationships with external tax providers or vendors

+ Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills

+ Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
