The Role at a Glance

This position will analyze and deliver on complex assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility. He/she will perform rigorous investment research, analysis and reporting of global asset allocation (strategic and tactical) and multi-asset portfolio construction and implementation. Acting as a key resource, He/she will support portfolio managers in their day-to-day management of asset allocation activities and multi-asset portfolios. S/he will also contribute to the preparation of committee level communication and presentation

What you'll be doing

* Responsible for supporting the daily portfolio management, construction, and implementation of LFI and sub-advised advised multi-asset funds.

* Collaborates with internal multi-asset portfolio managers, single-asset (equity, fixed income, derivatives or private market) portfolio managers, and external asset managers.

* Analyzes the investment performance and risks of multiple asset classes (primarily equity and fixed income), and conduct proprietary research on asset allocation strategies, portfolio construction and optimization techniques, and cost/tax aware tactical trading strategies.

* Analyzes and supports execution of risk management and strategic/tactical asset allocation strategies for multi-asset portfolios

* Maintains knowledge of current and emerging developments with respect to asset allocation, capital markets and multi-asset portfolios.

* Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.

* Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.

* Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.

* Consults/Analyze on more complex assignments and/or projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.

* Provides more complex reports and analyzes data to support internal and external stakeholders' decision making.

* Ensures data integrity and develops procedures and other process improvements for increased automation.

* Monitors investment guidelines and investment strategies to discern and communicate valuable information to Portfolio Managers.

* Prepares PowerPoint presentations for analysis findings and recommendations.

* Writes and edits a broad range of communications and presentations for internal audiences, including but not limited to Investment Committees, Board of Director Committee presentations, quarterly business reviews, and ad-hoc investment reports.

* Researches and analyzes more complex investment information to enhance communication across the company.

What we're looking for

Must haves:

* 4 Year/Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Business, Economics, Statistics/Math or a related field (Minimum Required). Advanced degree such as an MBA/MFE is preferred.

* 5 - 7 Years' experiences in portfolio construction, multi-asset investing, or investment research & analysis in one of the major asset classes (fixed income, global / international / domestic equities). Shorter work experience can be considered at Analyst level.

* Analytical/statistical skills to process and handle large amounts of data.

* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.

Nice-to-haves:

* Portfolio optimization techniques, or prior macroeconomic analysis or portfolio management experience.

* Progress towards CFA or other professional designations (CAIA), or willingness to pursue professional designations.

* Familiarity with Morningstar Direct, PowerBI/Tableau, Bloomberg, or other financial software is preferred. Experience in Python, VBA or other programming languages is a big plus.

* Familiar with AI tools (Copilot / Claude)
