You're probably already the person everyone turns to.

When an advisor has an unusual client request, an account issue gets complicated, a process is not working, or someone simply asks, “How do we do this?” - you are usually the person who figures it out.

If that sounds familiar, Beacon Financial Services may have built a role around exactly what you are best at.

We are looking for an experienced, Series 7-licensed financial-services professional who can become the operational right hand to our advisors and, over time, one of the people who helps shape how our firm operates.

Beacon Financial Services is a growing, family-owned and operated firm serving high-net-worth individuals and families, business owners, and employer-sponsored retirement plans across both Wealth Management and Retirement Plan advisory services.

We are investing in the people and processes that will let us grow without sacrificing service. This role is a key part of that next stage: freeing our advisors to spend more time advising and building relationships while strengthening the operational engine behind the business.

What this role really is...

This role has two closely connected responsibilities. The first is immediate and hands-on. The second is earned over time through mastery of Beacon's business, clients, systems, and workflows.

1. Be an exceptional partner to our advisors and clients
  • Your first priority will be learning Beacon's business and becoming outstanding at the operational work that supports our advisors - taking administrative and client-service responsibilities off their plates so they can spend more time advising clients and building relationships.
  • Own client service execution across money movement, transfers, account maintenance, ACATs, and advisor-directed transactions.
  • Prepare client reviews with the right account, performance, investment, and planning information - then make sure follow-up actually gets completed.
  • Keep Salesforce, eMoney, and other firm systems current with important client details, meeting notes, and action items.
  • Run account and performance reports, monitor recurring needs such as RMDs, research questions, and coordinate with custodians and outside partners.
  • Catch issues before they become problems and make sure commitments made to clients do not disappear into an inbox or meeting note.
2. Become the operational expert behind the business
  • Once you have learned how Beacon operates and earned credibility, the role expands. We want someone who does not just ask, “What is the process?” but eventually asks, “Why is this the process - and is there a better way?”
  • Learn and document how work moves across Wealth Management and Retirement Plans - forms, handoffs, providers, systems, and compliance-sensitive steps.
  • Identify bottlenecks, recurring errors, unnecessary steps, and tribal knowledge.
  • Build clearer checklists, templates, workflows, and service standards - and help implement them.
  • Create clarity around ownership and help the team consistently execute the processes we have agreed upon.
  • Become the trusted internal resource for complex “How do I...?” questions and help the organization get better as it grows.

BECOME THE EXPERT->

IMPROVE THE SYSTEM

You do not need to arrive as a retirement-plan expert. 401(k) experience is a meaningful advantage, but strong industry knowledge, learning speed, and comfort with complexity matter more.

  • Support advisors and Relationship Managers with plan onboarding, provider implementations, service needs, and troubleshooting.
  • Work with recordkeepers, TPAs, and other partners to keep projects moving and track responsibilities, paperwork, and deadlines.
  • Help advisors analyze documents such as 408(b)(2) disclosures and learn recurring retirement-plan workflows.
  • Identify ways to make those processes faster, clearer, and more reliable for clients and the internal team.
