Platform Engineer, Specialist

In this Role you will:

• Design and implement Google Cloud and Gemini solutions that meet business requirements.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance to ensureuptime, reliability, and SLA compliance.
• Propose solution architectures and manage the deployment of cloud networking solutions according to customer requirements and implementation best practices.
• Is a key participant in new feature development from an implementation perspective, working closely with leadership and occasionally product and engineering teams.
• Acts as an escalation point for Google Cloud and Gemini implementation-related issues.
• Provide expert level Tier 3 technical infrastructure support services for issues elevated from other support and technical service organizations.
• Contribute to documentation, automation scripts, and internal knowledge sharing to support continuous improvement.
• Participate in special projects and performs other related duties as assigned.

• Undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience
• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience, including at least 2 years working inGCPenvironments building.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Gemini, Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, VPC, IAM, GKE, and Big Query.
• Experience building infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, or Deployment Manager.
• Strong knowledge ofCI/CD toolssuch as Git Lab CI, Jenkins, or Cloud Build.
• Solid understanding of Linux administration, networking, and containerization(Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong troubleshooting skills in cloud infrastructure, networking, security best practices, and performance optimization
• Experience supporting
  
  Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• GCP Professional Cloud Architector Dev Ops  Engineer certification.
• Familiarity with
  
  AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple problems simultaneously.
• Experience leading and mentoring staff, technical support organizations.
• Experience with production readiness review process.
