API Solutions Architect

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to play a key role in driving enterprise digital transformation initiatives. This position focuses on architecting and delivering scalable, cloud-native, API-first digital platforms that enable seamless and secure customer and partner experiences You will operate at the intersection of business and technology—partnering with Product Owners, engineering teams, and senior stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into modern, resilient architecture solutions built on Microsoft Azure.

• Design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure
• Architect API-first, microservices-based, and event-driven systems
• Translate business requirements into reusable, enterprise-aligned technical solutions
• Define and maintain architecture documentation and reference models
• Align solutions with enterprise standards and best practices
• Lead architecture for digital platforms and API layers
• Guide development teams on microservices, integration patterns, and cloud-native principles
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security across distributed systems
• Architect modern data platforms using tools such as Azure Databricks, Data Factory, Delta Lake, and Synapse Analytics
• Support hybrid cloud environments and enterprise integrations
• Partner closely with Agile/Scrum teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Provide architectural oversight and governance during implementation
• Mentor engineers and promote architectural excellence
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders

• 5+ years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture
• 3+ years of hands-on Azure architecture experience (including hybrid environments)
• Strong expertise in API-first design, microservices, event-driven architecture, and SOA
• Experience with Azure data platforms (Databricks, Synapse, Data Factory, etc.)
• Proficiency in modern development stacks (React, Node.js, Java, Python, Scala, SQL, or similar)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• Azure Solutions Architect certification (AZ-305 or equivalent)
• Experience in financial services, lending, leasing, or regulated industries
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Dev Ops practices, monitoring, and secure coding standards (OWASP)
