The Role at a Glance
The Consultant, Procurement Transformation and Automation advances Lincoln's procurement digital and AI maturity by redesigning intake to procure journeys, delivering workflow and process automations, and transforming data into executive ready insights. This role enables savings, improves compliance, and elevates stakeholder experience by leveraging enterprise workflow automation, data platforms, and analytics tools such as Power Automate, UiPath, Power BI, and Dataiku, tailored to Lincoln's risk, control, and regulatory environment
What you'll be doing
* Map and standardize end to end procurement workflows across intake, sourcing, contracting, purchase order, and invoice processes.
* Design and implement orchestration patterns across Sourcing, Legal, TPRM, Accounts Payable, and business requestors to create more efficient and connected workflows.
* Design, build, and maintain process automations using enterprise workflow and robotic process automation platforms such as Power Automate and UiPath, incorporating robust logging, credentialing, monitoring, error handling, and full automation lifecycle management.
* Manage automation pipelines, releases, and performance to improve throughput, increase touchless transaction rates, and reduce requisition to purchase order cycle times.
* Develop and operationalize procurement data models, reporting, and dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Dataiku to provide insights on spend, savings pipeline, cycle times, supplier performance, and contract compliance.
* Translate data into executive ready narratives and actionable insights that support adoption and data driven decision making across stakeholders.
* Participate in and occasionally facilitate workshops and training activities, helping develop SOPs, documentation, and communications that support the adoption of new tools and workflows.
* Lead change management efforts to scale new procurement processes, technologies, and ways of working across the organization.
* Embed risk, compliance, and control requirements directly into automated solutions, and collaborate with internal stakeholders including TPRM, Compliance, and Audit on control design, evidence collection, and ongoing testing.
* Support continuous improvement efforts that drive savings enabled and validated, improve contract compliance, and enhance the overall stakeholder experience.
What we're looking for
Must-Haves
* 3-5+ Years experience in procurement and process improvement directly aligned to the specific responsibilities for this role
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to influence management/critical stakeholders
* Analytical skills and close attention to detail is necessary
* Ability to adapt quickly in a changing work environment
Nice to-haves
* Hands on experience with automation and analytics tools such as Power Automate, UiPath, Power BI, Dataiku, or similar platforms
* Familiarity with API integrations and source to pay or ERP data structures
* Familiarity with SQL, Python, or similar tools for data preparation and analysis is a plus

The pay range for this position is $72,900 - $131,600 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role.
