The Oncology Analytics & Insights Lead serves as a central connective leader across the commercial analytics ecosystem, providing deep Oncology analytics subject‑matter expertise while driving alignment across GCO, GTM segments, TES, Advanced Analytics, CSIH, Information Solutions and other supporting functions. This role bridges strategy and execution by shaping how analytics capabilities are positioned, evolved, sold and operationalized—ensuring consistency, scalability and client relevance.

Responsibilities

  • Go To Market (GTM) Support & Commercial Enablement
    • Partner with GTM leadership and segment teams to shape commercial strategy and drive consistent analytics positioning across customer segments.
    • Enable GTM teams through ongoing education on offering updates, new capabilities and therapeutic‑specific analytics evolution.
    • Provide deep subject‑matter expertise in support of pipeline development, deal shaping and complex opportunity qualification.
    • Support direct opportunity solutioning, client meetings and executive discussions by translating complex analytic approaches into clear, decision‑oriented guidance.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to sales and client teams, ensuring the right balance of standardized, hybrid and custom analytics solutions based on client objectives and data readiness.
    • Collaborate with Brand, Field, Market Access and Innovation teams in Analytics & Technology to ensure analytic solutions are aligned to functional needs and use cases.
    • Serve as a recognised subject‑matter expert across key therapeutic area, supporting credible analytic conversations, thought leadership activities and IQVIA’s overall role as a trusted advisor.
  • Global Commercial Organization (GCO) Partnership
    • Serve as a key voice in the prioritisation and shaping of future offerings, informed by ongoing voice‑of‑customer insights and market feedback.
    • Partner with GCO to guide the evolution of therapeutic analytics capabilities, ensuring alignment to commercial strategy, client demand and enterprise standards.
    • Serve as a connector and translator of the appropriate logic and methodological needs between Scion, GCO platforms and Advanced Analytics.
    • Provide structured input into roadmap decisions, capability investments and packaging strategies to maximise adoption and impact.
    • Support the refinement of value propositions and solution narratives that resonate with senior client stakeholders.
  • Delivery Alignment & Capability Optimisation
    • Partner closely with Clinical, Delivery and Advanced Analytics leadership to align and streamline delivery capabilities with current and future commercial needs.
    • Support creation and refinement of therapeutic standards including market definitions, therapy area frameworks and analytic assumptions to be leveraged consistently by multiple teams and solutions.
    • Support ongoing optimisation, standardisation and best practice definition across therapeutic analytics solutions.
    • Help ensure consistent application of therapeutic frameworks, market definitions and analytic assumptions across teams and engagements.
    • Promote scalable delivery models that protect quality while improving efficiency, predictability and speed to value.
  • Operational Maturity & Financial Stewardship
    • Support achievement of near‑term and long‑term financial objectives by promoting scalable, repeatable and cost‑effective analytics models.
    • Help evolve how teams collaborate across business areas, driving standardised and sustainable operating approaches.
    • Contribute to the development of mature business practices that balance innovation with operational discipline.
    • Mentor and support development of mid‑level talent by modelling strong therapeutic reasoning, analytic judgement and consultative problem‑solving.
    • Act as a connective leader across TES, GTM, GCO, Delivery and Information Solutions to reduce friction, eliminate duplication and improve enterprise coordination.

Minimum Required Education and Experience

  • 12–15 years of professional experience in analytics, consulting or life sciences.
