We are partnering with a growing organization in the Wayne, PA area that is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support and enhance a complex hybrid infrastructure environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in Tier III support, enjoys solving high-level infrastructure challenges, and has strong experience across Microsoft cloud and on-prem technologies.
This position will play a key role in maintaining enterprise infrastructure operations, supporting cloud initiatives, improving system performance, and driving modernization efforts across the environment.
Responsibilities- Provide Tier III infrastructure support across enterprise systems and cloud platforms
- Administer and optimize Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments
- Manage and support Windows Server infrastructure, Active Directory, Office 365, DNS, and DHCP services
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and system performance issues across on-prem and cloud environments
- Develop and maintain Power Shell scripts to automate operational and administrative tasks
- Support virtualization platforms and related infrastructure technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and system improvements
- Monitor system health, availability, and performance while proactively addressing issues
- Assist with security initiatives, patch management, and infrastructure hardening efforts
- Participate in infrastructure planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives
- Document configurations, procedures, and technical solutions to support operational excellence
- Strong experience supporting Microsoft Azure environments
- Hands-on expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud infrastructure environments
- Advanced troubleshooting experience within enterprise infrastructure environments
- Strong Power Shell scripting and automation capabilities
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, and virtualization technologies
- Proven ability to provide Tier III infrastructure support in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams
- Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender
- Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops and Kubernetes
- Experience supporting MSSQL environments
- Exposure to enterprise monitoring and observability tools
- Previous consulting or client-facing experience is a plus
