Duration: 6 month W2 contract to FTE

Type: W2 contract, paid hourly

W2 Contract Pay: $50-70/hr

Salary: $90-150K + bonuses and 401k matching

Role Summary The client is building a change management and communications function supporting Workplace AI, Microsoft 365, Copilot, Fabric, and broader digital workplace technologies. This role is focused on managing communications, documentation, knowledge management, and user adoption activities associated with a large volume of Microsoft ecosystem changes. It is not traditional organizational change management. It is a digital workplace communications and adoption role responsible for translating technical changes into meaningful user communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and own change management and communications processes.
• Assess and communicate relevant Microsoft ecosystem changes impacting end users.
• Translate technical updates into business-friendly communications.
• Maintain and update SharePoint-based documentation and knowledge resources.
• Manage knowledge articles, product documentation, and user guidance.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to understand upcoming platform changes.
• Develop communication plans for Copilot, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and Fabric.
• Support user adoption and awareness campaigns.
• Assist with roadshows, summits, and technology awareness events.
• Build repeatable intake and governance processes for change communications.
• Support future AI-enabled content and communication workflows.

• Change management experience.
• Internal communications experience.
• User adoption and enablement experience.
• Knowledge management and documentation experience.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Experience translating technical concepts for business audiences.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.
• Experience maintaining SharePoint pages and content.
• Familiarity with AI tools and practical AI usage.
• Experience working directly with technical teams.
• ADKAR or similar change management methodologies are helpful.
