Position Summary
We're seeking a Commercial Data (Pharma) Consultant to support commercial operations and enterprise data management initiatives within a large pharmaceutical environment. This role requires a unique blend of strong technical expertise and business acumen, partnering closely with commercial stakeholders to improve data quality, resolve complex data issues, and optimize end-to-end commercial operations.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within large pharmaceutical organizations and a deep understanding of commercial data, master data management (MDM), and system integrations. This individual will leverage SQL and data analysis to identify root causes, drive process improvements, and ensure the integrity of commercial data across the organization.
Responsibilities

• Partner with commercial operations teams to support end-to-end business processes and data initiatives.
• Analyze commercial data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and root causes of data quality issues.
• Utilize SQL and other data querying tools to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex data challenges.
• Support enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives, including experience with Reltio MDM and system integrations.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to improve data governance, data quality, and business processes.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate findings to cross-functional teams.
• Drive continuous improvements across commercial data management processes and workflows.
• Partner with leadership and business stakeholders to ensure accurate, reliable, and actionable commercial data.

• 15-25+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
• Strong background in Commercial Operations and Commercial Data Management.
• Hands-on experience with Master Data Management (MDM), preferably Reltio MDM.
• Experience supporting system integrations and backend data analysis.
• Advanced SQL and data querying skills.
• Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve complex data quality issues.
• Strong understanding of sales planning, commercial data, and enterprise data management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business teams.

• Experience supporting enterprise data quality or data assessment initiatives.
• Familiarity with large-scale commercial data ecosystems within global pharmaceutical organizations.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional business and technology teams in a highly matrixed environment.
