PPR Capital Management is seeking a highly organized and intellectually curious Entry-Level Paralegal to serve as a critical support function within our Legal Department. This role provides direct exposure to sophisticated real estate private equity transactions, regulatory compliance frameworks, and corporate governance matters, offering an accelerated learning curve for candidates seeking to build a foundation in real estate law and investment management operations.

Responsibilities

Transaction Support & Document Management

  • Draft, review, and maintain legal documents including NDAs, vendor contracts, operating agreements, and real estate transaction documentation, ensuring version control and proper recordkeeping
  • Build and maintain standardized templates and form libraries to streamline recurring legal processes
  • Coordinate with external counsel on document preparation and review cycles, managing timelines and deliverables
  • Support acquisition and disposition transactions by preparing due diligence checklists, organizing data rooms, and tracking open items through closing
  • Assemble and distribute closing binders with complete sets of executed documents; coordinate post-closing recordation and archiving
  • Maintain detailed transaction trackers with key dates, parties, property information, and status updates

Entity Management & Compliance

  • Track and manage entity formation documents, annual reports, franchise tax filings, and business licenses across multiple state jurisdictions
  • Maintain corporate entity database with current ownership structures, registered agents, and filing requirements; monitor renewal deadlines and coordinate timely submissions
  • Coordinate with registered agent services and state filing offices to resolve administrative issues

Legal Operations & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as first point of contact for legal requests from operations, asset management, finance, and investor relations teams; triage requests and route appropriately to in-house counsel or handle independently as applicable
  • Organize and facilitate weekly legal team meetings, preparing agendas, tracking action items, and ensuring follow-through on outstanding matters
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research on real estate matters, securities regulations, and compliance requirements; prepare memoranda summarizing findings with practical implications

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Maintain and optimize legal databases, contract management systems, and document repositories
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to streamline deal documentation and provide preliminary responses to common legal questions
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual processes, and implement consistent quality control measures across legal documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required
  • Paralegal certificate or completion of ABA-approved paralegal program highly valued
  • 0–2 years of paralegal, legal assistant, or law firm internship experience
  • Experience in real estate, investment management, or financial services environments highly valued
  • Exceptional attention to detail with ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines and competing priorities
  • Superior organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Advanced written communication skills including ability to draft clear correspondence and professional memoranda
