Systems Engineer
Overview
As a Platform Reliability Engineer within our Private Cloud department, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining innovative solutions that strengthen our IT infrastructure. Your passion for automation, coding, and modern engineering practices will help us increase efficiency and deliver high‑quality, cutting‑edge services to our customers.
Day to Day- Build & operate the platform
- Private cloud / CI‑CD pipelines ensuring reliability, security, and performance
- Enable self‑service
- Make the platform consumable via templates, catalogues, guardrails, and standardization
- Own platform reliability
- Drive monitoring, incident response, and reliability improvements of the platform itself
- Security and compliance by design
- RBAC, secrets, compliance
- Scalability & performance
- Optimize cluster capacity, cost‑efficiency, and platform performance
- Collaboration & support
- Work closely with other delivery teams to troubleshoot issues and improve developer experience
- On‑call participation
- Advanced knowledge of Service Now
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of Ansible
- Strong understanding of virtualization technologies and best practices
- Knowledge about infrastructure services in general
- Two working days per year volunteering for a local charity
