Position Summary

The Dishwasher plays a vital role in supporting the culinary and operations teams in Wayne, PA. This position ensures that all kitchen equipment, dishes, and work areas are clean, sanitized, and organized to support high-volume catering production and event execution. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Operate commercial dishwashing machines safely and efficiently
• Ensure all items meet health department sanitation standards

• Assist with basic kitchen tasks as needed (trash removal, sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces)
• Break down and clean workstations, prep areas, and kitchen floors
• Support chefs and kitchen staff during prep and breakdown periods

• Properly organize clean dishes, equipment, and supplies in designated storage areas
• Assist with maintaining clean dish rooms, shelving, and storage spaces

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations
• Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and uniform standards
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns to leadership promptly

• Prior dishwasher or kitchen experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Willingness to assist where needed and follow direction

• Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required
