Financial Consultant
The Entity Advisor (EA) concentrates on developing new and managing existing client relationships. EAs have the full support of an established Wealth Management practice along with autonomy to develop their own client base. An EA will be responsible for prospecting and meeting with individuals and families to identify goals, develop financial plans, and implement needs-based financial solutions. In certain situations, this individual may also work with Clarity’s existing client base to assist with ongoing service and identify new opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a history of professional success, a long-term relationship mentality, be very driven, and self-motivated. EAs receive a robust benefits package, including 401(k), group health, life, and disability coverage. Compensation includes a base salary plus production-based income.
- Prospect to identify new clients and take them through the financial planning process
- Maintain required activity levels; meet with prospects and clients to help identify goals, develop financial plans, and implement needs-based financial solutions
- Process completed fact finders and work with the CFPG team to develop and implement insurance and investment strategies that promote financial security for families and business-owners.
- Participate in assembly of relevant materials for client meetings and presentations
- Maintain client relationship management (CRM) system for ongoing prospect and client follow-up
- Document all necessary case notes and client correspondence in CRM
- Maintain compliance standards
- Attend and participate in ongoing coaching and activity sessions with peers and mentors to ensure appropriate activity levels are maintained
- Act in a flex capacity, assisting other team members with service tasks based on workflow
- Ability to delegate work to other team members as necessary when workload does not allow for completion of tasks
- Work directly with clients servicing insurance products and investment accounts
- Life, accident and health licensing to be secured within 30 days of contracting
- Securities licensing to be secured within 90 days of contracting
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications, data entry and information retrieval
- Has interest in learning on a continuous basis
- Entrepreneurial attitude and a self-starter mentality
- Demonstration of grit when pursuing professional goals
- Demonstration of ability to engage with people and create/develop relationships
- Ability to work both independently and in a team capacity
