Software Development Engineer

This is an office‑based position.

• Code Development: Write, test, and debug basic software code according to task specifications.
• Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and improve code quality.
• Documentation: Responsible for creating supporting documentation associated with assigned tasks.

• Programming
  
  Languages:
  
  Basic proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., C#, .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XSLT) and devOps practices. Familiarity with software development lifecycle.
• Version Control: Understand and familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), IDEs and basic knowledge of web application security principles.
• Testing: Knowledge of basic testing methods, unit testing, and tools.
• Debugging: Ability to debug code using browser developer tools for front‑end or using breakpoints and logging in back‑end code. Ability to identify and resolve simple software issues.
• Basic foundational knowledge and skills related to the role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work in teams, communicate effectively with peers, seniors and management.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies and tools, as well as staying updated with the latest trends.
