As a SQL Database Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Data Management Department supporting the Database Development Team. Job Title: SQL Database Engineer
Location: Wayne, PA
Pay Range: $40/hr - $44/hr on W2
What’s the Job- Modify existing databases and database management systems to improve performance and reliability.
- Write and code logical and physical database descriptions, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Collaborate with project teams to coordinate database development and define project scope and limitations.
- Review project requests to estimate time and costs, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Troubleshoot system issues and implement necessary changes to resolve problems promptly.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with database development software such as Visual Basic.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to solve complex problems.
- Basic understanding of the full software development lifecycle, from analysis to deployment.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing project requirements.
