The Role at a Glance

We are seeking a hands-on Application Developer to contribute to the design, development, and support of modern, customer-focused applications in a full-stack, cloud-based, API-driven Agile environment.

This role emphasizes technical execution, problem solving, and continuous learning, working as part of a collaborative team delivering scalable web solutions. You will contribute to building, enhancing, and supporting applications while adopting modern engineering practices and tools.

What you'll be doing

Application Development & Delivery

* Design, develop, test, and support web-based applications and APIs following the full software development lifecycle [ID00P301 | Word]

* Build and enhance full-stack solutions including frontend, backend services, and integrations

* Develop and maintain applications using technologies such as:

* Java, Spring Boot

* Angular, Type Script, JavaScript, HTML/CSS

* Contribute to cloud-based application development, primarily within AWS environments.

* Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and testing activities to ensure high-quality solutions

Analysis & Problem Solving

* Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and working solutions

* Identify opportunities for application enhancements, automation, and performance improvements

* Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, including production support and defect resolution

* Evaluate how systems, applications, and APIs interact to support business needs

Agile Delivery & Collaboration

* Work within an Agile team to deliver iterative, high-quality software solutions.

* Collaborate with team members, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives

* Contribute to task estimation, sprint planning, and backlog refinement

* Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance team delivery and processes

Quality, Dev Ops & Engineering Practices

* Follow established coding standards, testing practices, and SDLC processes

* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation efforts to improve delivery speed and reliability

* Support application monitoring, logging, and performance optimization

Learning & Technical Growth

* Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends

* Continuously build skills in cloud technologies, APIs, and modern development practices

* Apply new tools and techniques to improve development efficiency and solution quality

* Ensure solutions meet quality, security, and compliance standards

What we're looking for

Must Haves:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

* 3-5+ years of application development experience (or equivalent demonstrable experience)

* Experience with full-stack development concepts (frontend + backend)

* Exposure to:

* Java / Spring Boot (preferred)

* JavaScript frameworks (Angular preferred)

* RESTful APIs and service-based architectures

* Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms

* Understanding of CI/CD, version control, and Dev Ops practices

* Experience working with databases, integrations, and system interfaces

* Practical experience with Agentic/Generative AI

The pay range for this position is $72,900 - $131,600 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role.
