Key Responsibilities- Industry Engagement / Customer relationship – understand needs and offer tailored solutions that meet both technical and financial expectations. Work with global markets to understand customer organization and strategies. Maintain presence within the industry to be recognized as a trusted leader and expert on WEC APX technology.
- Market Analysis / Forecasting – conduct market research to identify new business opportunities. Track industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that may affect sales strategies. Engage with senior management to report on sales activities, proposal status, and business development efforts. Provide accurate sales forecasts and update D365 accordingly.
- Capture Strategy – collaborate with APX Project Delivery, Global Markets, Partner Development, and Commercial/Marketing to develop tailored capture plans, presentations, and strategies that address client needs and project specifications. Identify commercial risks and help identify project technical risks and develop an overall mitigation strategy with the Capture Team.
- Commercial Engagement / Negotiations – lead the approval process with the Proposal Manager. Present the offer for approval and obtain agreement from WEC partners. Lead negotiations on contracts, agreements, and project terms. Work with legal, financial, contracts, and technical teams to ensure contracts are aligned with company policies and in the best interest of both us and the client.
- B.S. in Engineering or B.S. in Business Management
- Experience 10+ years in Nuclear or Energy Industry
- Knowledge of Westinghouse products and services
- Knowledge of nuclear utility industry and regulatory environment
- Knowledge of global marketing principles, industry practices and strategic planning processes
- Knowledge of utility work process and internal cultures, including business planning and processes
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $189,200 to $236,500 per year. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
