What You'll DoAs our RN Staff Education Director, you will:
- Develop, coordinate, and conduct orientation programs for new employees
- Plan and facilitate ongoing staff education and annual mandatory training
- Ensure compliance with CMS, Georgia Department of Community Health, OSHA, and Harborview educational requirements
- Coordinate competency evaluations and clinical skills validations
- Educate nursing staff on new policies, procedures, and best practices
- Assist with infection prevention education initiatives
- Support Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities
- Monitor education records and maintain accurate documentation
- Provide mentoring and coaching to licensed nurses and nursing assistants
- Assist with survey readiness and regulatory compliance efforts
- Work collaboratively with nursing leadership to promote clinical excellence
- Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Prefer a minimum of two years of nursing experience (long-term care experience) but not required
- Previous staff development or education experience preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Knowledge of CMS regulations and long-term care standards
- CPR Instructor certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing others
