Well Span Waynesboro Med Surg is a fast-paced, 35-bed unit that prioritizes patient-centered care. Our unit is dedicated to providing high-quality care to adult patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Med Surg specializes in assessment, treatment, monitoring, and recovery of patients requiring medical management, post-operative care, telemetry monitoring, and interdisciplinary support. Our team is composed of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing assistants who collaborate to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care focused on safety, healing, and positive patient outcomes.

Provides clinical support services to patient care staff by performing a variety of duties related to patient care. Takes patient vital signs, assists patients with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, feeding, toileting, etc.), inventories and replenishes supplies and equipment, and performs special assigned duties such as performing EKGs and Point-of-Care testing.
