Permanent contract position available for the school year. Special Education PA certificate and school based experience required. The WASD is looking for a strong candidate with background knowledge and experience working with a diversified population of learners who have varying disabilities. Applicants must have a strong desire to work with learners who are challenged with academic and behavior needs. The district is interested in teachers who will work in teams to support our neediest students.

Candidates who do not hold a valid PA certification (out-of-state credential, relevant professional background without valid PA certification with the ability to obtain certification as per PDE guidelines) will also be considered.
