Substitute Services for Waynesboro City Public Schools

Waynesboro Public Schools has partnered with Edustaff to provide substitute services for our schools. Please apply through the links below, not on the Waynesboro Public Schools website.

Edustaff provides services for the following types of substitutes: teachers, instructional aides, nurses, school nutrition, and bus aides.

Anyone not currently with Edustaff and interested in subbing at Waynesboro City Public Schools must become employed with Edustaff by completing the process below:

• Type in Waynesboro City Public Schools for the Search Job Titles or Schools
• Click "ADD TO MY JOBS" for your applicable option
• Click on "Start Application" and create your account

2. Educational Documents – you will be required to provide Edustaff with one of the following educational documents that pertains to your position: (For the Health Positions, Waynesboro has agreed to supply Edustaff with what they have on file if you are unable to provide a copy)

• Substitute Teacher - must supply either HS transcript, HS Diploma, GED, highest College Transcript or current VA Teaching License
• Health Positions – Must supply their current license with the state

GCN Section:
You will be responsible for completing all state-mandated annual training requirements. These will appear as "Action Items" in your Edustaff account. You will receive notifications when they become available, and all required training must be completed.

• Unless the district indicates, as a rollover, you will not be required to be re-fingerprinted
• VA Central Registry – our staff will work with the district on rollover approvals and unless notified otherwise, you should not be required to complete this step.
• Register for a Right Start Meeting (for Rollover Substitutes)
• This is a 30-minute meeting designed to welcome you to Edustaff, verify identification, submit necessary documents, and to answer any questions you may have. At your scheduled Right Start Meeting, please be prepared to provide us with
• I-9 Identification Documents ( you selected to provide Edustaff)
• Educational Documents (if not previously uploaded during the online application)
