Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Test Technician to join our Waynesboro Virginia team. In the Mission Systems sector, you'll join our experts in developing systems and solutions that keep our world safe.
The candidate must be able to apply electronics principles in the fabrication, test, and troubleshooting of complete components, assemblies, devices, circuits, and systems. The Test Technician will perform acceptance test procedures that verify equipment function. This includes, but is not limited to:
These positions will be filled at 1st or 2nd shift.
Basic Qualifications for the Electronics Technician:
- High School Diploma/GED with an additional 2 or more years of relevant experience with fabrication and test of complex components, assemblies, devices, circuits and systems.
- Must have experience with electronics principles.
- Must have a current active DoD Secret Security Clearance(minimum) with an investigation date of less than 5 years to be considered.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications for the Electronics Technician:
- RF test experience and/or antenna test/range experience.
- Test development experience in a nearfield antenna range.
- Experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment.
Primary Level Salary Range: $44,400.00 - $74,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
