Role Overview
Safety is a top priority, and comprehensive training is provided.
Key Responsibilities Include- Setting up and taking down cones, signs, and barricades
- Using stop/slow paddles to direct traffic and monitor site activity
- Adhering to safety protocols learned during training
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety of vehicles and equipment
- Working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift 40-50 pounds for extended periods
- Willingness to work in traffic and diverse weather conditions
- Flexibility and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment screening, including drug testing
- Attention to safety and respectful interaction with others
Compensation ranges from $18.50 to $19.25 per hour, with opportunities for overtime, pay raises, and benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, 401(k), and referral bonuses. Advancement paths include roles like Senior Protector, Lead Protector, Field Supervisor, and Manager, fostering career growth.
