Pay and CompensationYou will earn competitive pay. A $5,000 sign‑on bonus is paid quarterly for full‑time and part‑time staff and daily pay is available.

Position DescriptionThe Nursing Supervisor (RN) will provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day‑to‑day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Supervision must adhere to current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as may also be required by the Director of Nursing.
Responsibilities- Consult and coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Prepare and administer medications (orally, subcutaneously, or via IV) and record prescriptions; report adverse reactions in accordance with policy.
- Educate patients on surgical procedures.
- Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients and interpret electronic displays.
- Initiate corrective actions when patients display adverse symptoms.
- Provide bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients, including pre‑ and post‑surgery patients.
- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
- Participate in discharge planning.
- Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in a timely manner on the appropriate forms.
- First aid and CPR certification.
- Current RN license in the state of Virginia.
- Excellent staff training and customer service skills.
- Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
