HVAC Systems Service Technician

ARS-Rescue Rooter seeks an HVAC Systems Service Technician to support residential customers with expert diagnostics, repair, replacement, and maintenance of heating and cooling systems. In this field-based role, you'll troubleshoot furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps; perform preventive maintenance; and install or start up new equipment. You'll communicate clearly with homeowners, present options, and ensure safe, code-compliant work. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and system tune-ups.
• Install, start up, and commission replacement HVAC equipment and components.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant issues safely and accurately.
• Communicate findings, options, and pricing to customers clearly and professionally.
• Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service tickets.
• Follow company and OSHA safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area and vehicle.
• Collaborate with dispatch and call center to manage daily schedule and respond to priority calls.
• Promote maintenance agreements and system upgrades that improve comfort and efficiency.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and certifications to maintain and improve skills.
