PMPay: $24/hr Blue Ridge Beverage Company, Inc., located in Central and Southwest VA, is a large beverage distribution company seeking a full-time WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE (MID).Basic Function:
The primary responsibilities are checking in returning route trucks accurately documenting code dates and quantities as needed. Return all product to assigned locations and all empty kegs to the dunnage area neat and organized. Assist with various duties as assigned by the warehouse manager. The shift is Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM. Occasionally earlier start time or later finishing time may be required as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities of Mid-shift Warehouse Worker:
· Truck check ino Service Rep/Sales Team check-ino Verify all product returned to the warehouseo Accurately Document and separate close to code and out of code product.o Pick and load “hot shots” as assigned:
· Pick inter-company transfers:o Accurately pick orderso Verify that product type and count is correcto Build pallets and stretch wrap to assure that product will travel without damages.o Use electronic equipment to move product to the front dock area or as directed.o Load pallets onto transfer trailers in a safe manner.
· Keep loading pad area clean, neat and organized daily:o Discard all loose trash, stretch wrap and broken pallet pieces.o Down stack pallets to even layers to prevent damage.o Clean up all spills and breakage immediately.o Stack empty pallets and return to storage location.
· Manage Dunnageo Consolidate and maintain dunnage area in neat, orderly manner.o Prepare and schedule dunnage returns to suppliers.
· Inventory management:o Produce close to code reports and move inventory and adjust dates as needed and Relocate product to designated area so that inventory is available for picking.
· Equipment Maintenanceo Clean and perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment.o Document cleaning and maintenance.o Work with day warehouse manager to schedule repairs as needed.o Return equipment to designated area when not using.
· Complete all other tasks or projects assigned.
· Function in a fast-paced environment, as a member of a team and independently.
· Adhere to strict safe working practices and company policies.

Physical requirements:

· Must be able to repetitively lift 15 to 40 pounds and occasionally up to 135 pounds.
· Must be able to bend, lift, carry, climb, stoop and stack product using a forklift or walkie rider.
· Must be able to work in varying temperatures as assignments may involve working in a cooler, in a controlled temperature warehouse or outside.

Position requirements:
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that consistently requires a sense of urgency.
· Ability to repetitively lift, including overhead, 15-40 or more with frequent bending, stooping, standing, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling and sitting.
· Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
· Must have basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Forklift certification is preferred.
· Previous experience with computerized warehouse management systems.
· Microsoft excel and data entry experience preferred.
· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
