For the entire 26-27 School Year About the Role Hi, School Counselors! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a School Counselor for a contract, school-based position in Waynesville, NC. In this role, you'll support K-12 students by providing counseling services that promote academic achievement, social-emotional well-being, and career readiness. This opportunity is ideal for both experienced school counselors and newly licensed professionals looking to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative school community.

What You'll DoProvide individual and group counseling to K–12 students

Support students' academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success

Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams

Participate in MTSS, IEP, and Section 504 meetings, as appropriate

Maintain accurate documentation and student records

What We're Looking For North Carolina Professional Educator's License in School Counseling (or eligibility to obtain)
Master's Degree in School Counseling or related field

Strong communication and collaboration skills

School-based experience preferred, but not required
