Responsible for managing the construction of geotechnical projects ranging from $50,000 to $5,000,000. Works directly with clients to ensure deliverables meet scope and budget. Leads project teams to achieve success. Project Manager based around Waynesville, North Carolina.

• Business Development and Proposal Preparation:
  Identify new opportunities, coordinate with management team, and build client relationships.
• Assemble proposals including risk assessment, opportunity evaluation, estimating, engineering, technical writing, site visits, and client Q&A.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure understanding of contract requirements.
• Coordinate with pre‑construction team as applicable.
• Fully understand and comply with Keller risk management policies and procedures. Recognize major risks and take appropriate measures.
• Responsible for designs, submittals, material ordering, pre-job planning and scheduling; plan pre-project meetings with Superintendent and others.
• Develop plans and strategies to maximize profitability.
• Build and lead effective project-based teams; ensure work meets specified requirements.
• Work with branch and project team to keep project on schedule and budget.
• Identify and address challenges and opportunities to maximize profitability.
• Identify, track, and address changes; escalates changes when necessary.
• Approve and monitor weekly and monthly financial reports, forecasts, budgets and other metrics; manage A/R collections.
• Ensure compliance with Keller and OSHA safety requirements. In the event of a safety incident, work with HSEQ and project management teams.
• Resolve all quality nonconformance issues and exercise stop-work authority for safety and quality issues.

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of geotechnical, construction or related industry experience preferred.
• Excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000 per year. Actual salary will be based on experience, skills, scope of job, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law.
