Licensed Practical Nurse with our Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital!Job Summary
As an Inpatient Rehab Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) at HCA Healthcare, you’ll help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence after illness, injury, or extended hospital stays. With average stays of two to three weeks, you’ll build meaningful relationships and witness the difference your care makes in a patient’s progress. You will be part of a dynamic rehabilitation team committed to caring for and improving lives every day.
Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments, monitor responses, and report changes promptly
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to support therapy goals and promote independence
- Monitor vital signs and neurological status to detect changes and respond quickly
- Document progress and functional ability to guide care planning and team coordination
- Educate and support patients and families about recovery milestones, safety, and self‑care techniques
- Work closely with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver personalized, high‑quality care
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (LPN/LVN)
- Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse license must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
