Registered Nurse - Pulmonary Med Surg

Role

The Registered Nurse Pulmonary provides high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing patient conditions, administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting care accurately. They collaborate with medical providers and the care team to deliver personalized, compassionate care, educate patients and families, and advocate for patients' needs.

Conduct ongoing patient assessments, respond promptly to patient requests, monitor therapeutic responses, and ensure thorough documentation. Educate patients and caregivers about medical conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.

Requires at least one year of RN experience, an active RN license in the relevant state, BLS certification, and an associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred). Hospital nursing experience and national specialty certification are advantageous.

Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, procedural skills, effective communication, patient advocacy, and teamwork are essential to succeed in this role.
