Role Overview:
As a Registered Nurse Med-Surg Trauma Spine, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with medical providers and the care team to ensure positive clinical outcomes. You will assess patient conditions, perform procedures, administer medications, and document care accurately. Educating patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions and treatments is essential to promote understanding and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patient status during admission and shifts, reporting changes promptly.
- Perform procedures and monitor responses as ordered, ensuring thorough documentation.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic responses, and respond to adverse effects.
- Respond to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve issues proactively.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
Active RN license, Bachelor's Degree, and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. Strong communication, critical thinking, and compassionate care skills are required to excel in this role.
