Role:
Nurse Extern in Medical Cardiology Stepdown, providing hands‑on patient care and supporting nursing team activities.
Responsibilities:- Assist with ADLs
- Monitor vital signs
- Support mobility
- Perform basic nursing procedures (wound care, catheter care, specimen collection)
- Document care accurately
- Communicate updates
- Educate patients and families
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Engage in learning opportunities to enhance skills
Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program, certified CNA, and must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment.
Skills:Compassionate care delivery, effective communication, attention to detail, infection prevention, teamwork, and a commitment to growth in nursing practice.
