Role Overview
The Registered Nurse in this role provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a progressive care setting. They collaborate with medical providers to deliver pre-operative and post-operative nursing, serving as patient advocates to ensure excellent experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient conditions upon admission and throughout shifts, reporting changes.
- Perform procedures and administer medications as ordered, monitoring responses.
- Document care accurately and timely in medical records.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
- Registered Nurse licensure.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications obtained within 30 days of employment.
