Part-Time -Summer Position: Office Assistant SSS-TRIO

Position Summary

Duties include clerical/secretarial duties as detailed by supervisor instruction. This is a temporary summer position starting May 2026 through August 2026. The hours are flexible, limited to 19 hours per week.

• Required Education – High School Graduate or GED or equivalent
• Required Experience – Ability to work with various software programs; experience communicating with vendors; previous experience dealing with the general public on a daily basis
• Preferred Experience – Experience in an educational setting (college or public/private school); experience with data‑entry software; bilingual in Spanish

• Process electronic and paper admissions applications
• Scan student documents into the electronic database system
• Answer student questions pertaining to admissions
• Sign‑in participants in new student success seminars (orientation sessions)

• Ability to exercise the highest professional and ethical standards in the use of college time and resources and observe the stated policies and procedures of the College

• Position is designated as a security‑sensitive position and requires a satisfactory criminal history background check
• Males between the ages of 18 through 25 must be registered with the Selective Service System to be eligible for employment
