Construction Superintendent; Education Renovations

We’re working with a General Contractor that specializes in higher education renovation projects to bring on a Superintendent with strong experience managing active-campus work and smaller-scale renovation projects ranging from $200K–$500K.

This role is ideal for a Superintendent who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable coordinating work in occupied, sensitive environments where communication and planning matter just as much as schedule.

• Oversee higher education renovation projects from start to finish
• Manage projects typically ranging from $200K–$500K in value
• Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, deliveries, and daily site activities
• Work within active campus environments, maintaining safety and minimal disruption
• Enforce quality standards, safety protocols, and project schedules
• Track daily progress, field issues, and short-interval planning
• Communicate clearly with project managers, clients, and campus stakeholders
• Ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, and institutional requirements

• 3+ years of Superintendent or Lead Field experience with a GC
• Direct experience with higher education, school, or institutional renovations
• Strong understanding of renovation sequencing and coordination
• Experience working on occupied or operational facilities
• Ability to manage smaller budgets while maintaining high standards
• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Experience with K-12, municipal, or healthcare renovation projects
• Familiarity with Procore or similar field management tools

• Consistent backlog of local renovation work — no long-distance travel
• Straightforward project sizes with clear expectations
