Estimator, Construction, Quantity Surveyor

We are partnering with a growing general contractor to identify an experienced Estimator to join their team. This individual will play a key role in the preconstruction process by preparing accurate cost estimates, developing budgets, evaluating subcontractor proposals, and supporting project pursuits from concept through award.

• Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development, and hard-bid estimates
• Perform quantity takeoffs and detailed cost analyses
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
• Develop project budgets and assist with GMP preparation
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Participate in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
• Support bid reviews, scope leveling, and proposal preparation
• Collaborate with project management, operations, and preconstruction teams throughout the pursuit process
• Maintain current knowledge of market conditions, labor rates, and material pricing

• 3+ years of estimating experience within commercial construction
• Experience preparing estimates for ground-up and/or renovation projects
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Experience with estimating software and digital takeoff tools
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
