Electric Foreman

Job Summary:

The Electric Foreman is responsible for the oversight of the overhead or underground electric crews.

• Supervises internal and contract overhead or underground crews.
• Plans and coordinates electric construction jobs.
• Meets and coordinates with developers, contractors, and the public regarding electric construction jobs.
• Creates work orders, determines equipment and material needs, and inspects completed work of assigned crew members.
• Completes work orders and reports related to electric construction jobs.
• Enforces safety adherence to departmental, local, state, and federal regulations.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Seven years of overhead and underground electric utility system experience as a Class A Lineman and at least two years of supervisory experience.
• Must be certified to work with voltages up to 15kV.
• Must have a valid Texas Class A CDL Driver's license or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment.
• Must live within 20-miles of the Parker County Courthouse due to emergency and stand-by requirements. Relocation is required within 180 days of employment if outside the 20-mile radius.
