Paraprofessional / IA - Job Board: ESC Region 11 District Consortium, Weatherford ISD
Help meet physical and instructional needs of individual students with disabilities inside and outside the classroom. Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEP), including self‑help, behavior management, and instruction programs. Work under general supervision of the principal and immediate direction of a certified teacher.
Responsibilities- Assist in classroom instruction and support groups.
- Support behavior management for students with special education needs.
- Help implement individualized instruction and self‑help strategies.
- Maintain accurate student records and report progress to teachers.
- Follow IEP guidelines and assist in their implementation.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience working with students with disabilities a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with teachers and staff.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
