Position:Engineering Manager - Filtration Technology
We are looking for an entrepreneurial Engineering Manager who thrives in a startup environment and wants to help build a company from the ground up. This is not a maintenance engineering role. This position is for someone who enjoys creating new products, solving difficult technical problems, and taking ideas from a blank sheet of paper to full commercial production.
What You Will Do- Lead development of new filtration, separation, and liquid coalescing products.
- Own projects from concept, design, prototyping, testing, qualification, manufacturing scale-up, and commercialization.
- Evaluate filtration media, polymers, fibers, nonwovens, membranes, and composite structures.
- Work directly with customers, suppliers, manufacturing, and sales teams.
- Develop product specifications, testing methodologies, and validation plans.
- Support intellectual property generation and patent strategy.
- Build engineering systems, processes, and future engineering teams.
- Serve as a technical leader helping shape the future direction of Filtra Dyn.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience (ideal range 5–6 years).
- Knowledge of filtration, separation, coalescing, fluid processing, or related technologies.
- Strong understanding of filtration media and polymer-based filtration products.
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects independently.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.
