We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) to join our youth crisis facility. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals facing mental‑health and behavioral challenges, working within a supportive and collaborative environment committed to growth and recovery.
Responsibilities- Monitor and supervise youth in a crisis setting to ensure safety and well‑being.
- Cook and serve meals; follow the facility menu as posted.
- Complete items listed on the facility Chore Sheet as directed by the administrator.
- Ensure all residents are treated with dignity and respect.
- Maintain daily chart documentation.
- Keep the environment safe, clean, and structured.
- Follow facility policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards at all times.
- Be familiar with The Wood Group’s policies and procedures, including the employee handbook.
Full‑time overnight shift: 7 pm to 7 am (12‑hour rotating schedule).
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Additional training in mental health or behavioral support preferred.
- Prior experience working with youth or in a mental health setting is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high‑pressure situations.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Basic knowledge of crisis intervention and de‑escalation techniques.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.
Hourly wage: $16–$16.
