Travel RN - Labor and Delivery (L&D) - Nights

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule:

7 PM - 7 AM, Weekend Rotating

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for a variety of duties, including labor management, delivery support, and immediate newborn care.

Responsibilities:

• Manage labor and delivery processes for expectant mothers.
• Provide immediate care to newborns during the critical "golden hour."
• Assist in PACU and post-operative care for C-sections.
• Document patient care using Meditech and CPN systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Labor and Delivery, Recovery, and Immediate Newborn Care.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.
• WHONN certification preferred.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred.
• Skills in circulating C-sections are highly desirable.
