Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Rapid Response)

Weatherford, TX | Acute Care – Labor & Delivery

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | 6-Week Rapid Response Assignment | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit with 4 LDR beds, maintaining patient ratios of 1:1 (Pitocin) and 2:1 general
• Manage labor, delivery, recovery, and immediate newborn care including golden hour and baby care protocols
• Circulate and scrub C-sections; provide PACU care for post-cesarean patients
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic health record systems
• Deliver patient-centered care utilizing AIDET communication standards and bedside shift reporting
• Adhere to every-other-weekend scheduling requirements; no floating to other units

• Active Texas RN License required — temporary licenses will not be accepted
• BLS certification required — must be included in submission packet
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required — must be included in submission packet
• ACLS certification required — must be included in submission packet
• AWHONN certification required — must be included in submission packet
• Minimum 2+ years of hospital/specialty experience in Labor & Delivery

• Ability to scrub C-sections in addition to circulating
• Prior experience with Meditech electronic documentation system
• Familiarity with environments operating without unit secretaries or patient care technicians

• Scrubs provided by the facility, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care from day one
